Is there life after we die? Is there a Heaven and Hell

Yes

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.”

John 3:15 “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Eternal life is forever. Every man will either have eternal life or eternal death.

Can I know for sure which I will have – Eternal life or eternal Death?

Absolutely!

I John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

The Bible, God’s written word, says a person can know they have eternal life, life with God after this earthly life is over.

There are so many conflicting religions and denominations – Whom do I trust?

God Himself

2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

Jesus said in Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

But is the Bible God’s Word – John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Romans 3:4 “…yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;…”

Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

If religion, denominations, or man say one thing but God’s Word says another, God’s Word is the only thing we can stand upon. He is Truth!

Don’t all just go to heaven?

No

John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

I John 5:12 “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

Well, I’m a pretty good person. Doesn’t my life, my goodness earn me a spot in heaven?

No

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Romans 6:23 “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The Bible says eternal life is not of works but rather a gift of God. So, God the Father has a gift, something totally free, that He wants to give you, that if you accept, will guarantee you Heaven.

What must I know to receive this FREE gift from God?

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one:”
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

You are not perfect. You have sinned and could not match up to Christ’s righteousness
Sin has a penalty
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death;”
Sin’s wage is separation from God. If I pay my own way, I must pay for my sin by God’s judgement of separation from Him for all eternity.

God is willing to give you the free gift of heaven.
Romans 6:23 “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
God’s gift was His only begotten Son, Jesus. Christ’s death on the cross paid once for all the wage of sin – death. His perfection for our imperfection. You must realize you can not earn heaven but simply and only receive God’s gift of His Son’s payment for us.

You must receive the gift.
No gift is any good to you, unless you accept that gift.
Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Trust God today by accepting His Son Jesus freely – no works added.

Would you be willing now to pray and sincerely ask Jesus to save you?

“Dear Father, I confess, I am a sinner, and that my sin will send me to Hell, to be separated from You - Father. I believe that Jesus Christ your Son came to die and pay my penalty of sin on the cross and rose again the third day. Please forgive me of my sin. I do now accept Christ’s payment on the cross as my only means to heaven. Come into my heart and save my soul. Amen!”

Can I lose it?

No

You didn’t earn it. It was given freely.

John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

Hebrews 13:5 “…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Once you have accepted the free gift of God, you can never lose it.
